Vendor Access and Coordination
Someone local to let your vendors in, stay on top of the appointment, and confirm the work appears to have been done.
The problem with managing a house from far away
Most of the upkeep on a second home is done by vendors: housekeepers, landscapers, pool services, contractors. When you live elsewhere, every one of those appointments raises the same questions. Who lets them in? Did they actually come? Was the work done?
Vendor coordination answers all three. House Hawk is the local presence on the day:
- Vendor access and appointment coordination
- Meeting approved contractors, housekeepers, landscapers, pool services and other vendors
- Verifying that scheduled vendor work appears to have been completed
- Coordinating repairs or maintenance with your approval
- Emergency property visits when available
You approve, we coordinate
Nothing is arranged on your home without your approval. When a visit turns up something that needs a professional, you get the photos and the facts, and you decide. If you have a vendor you trust, they get the call. Once you authorize it, the visit is scheduled, the vendor is met on site, and you hear back when it is done.
House Hawk does not perform licensed electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing or other contractor work, and does not take on major repairs or construction. The value is in coordination, not in doing the trade work.
Checking the work was done
The hardest thing to know from a distance is whether a job was finished. After a scheduled service, the work is checked visually and photographed, so you can see that the hedges were trimmed, the pool was serviced or the leak was fixed, without taking the vendor's word for it. This is a visual check for an absent owner, not a licensed inspection of the work.
Emergency visits
Sometimes a call comes in that cannot wait for the next scheduled visit: an alarm company, a neighbor who noticed water running down the drive, a wind storm overnight. Emergency property visits are available when possible, to see what is happening and report back so you can decide what to do next. House Hawk is not an emergency service; in a fire, break-in or anything dangerous, call 911 first.

Repairs and maintenance are coordinated only with your approval. You can use vendors you already trust, and nothing is arranged without your OK.
Emergency property visits are available when possible. House Hawk is not an emergency service, so call 911 first for fire, break-ins or anything dangerous.
