Why House Hawk exists

Owners of second homes in Rancho Santa Fe and along the coast face the same problem: a valuable house, sitting empty, and nobody they trust nearby to keep an eye on it. The usual answers are a neighbor doing a favor, a security company that drives past, or a large service where you never speak to the same person twice.

House Hawk is the alternative to that. A boutique, high-trust home watch service where one local person learns your home, visits it on a schedule, and tells you exactly what was found, with photos, every time.

Britt Galland

House Hawk is owned and run by Britt Galland. Britt's family has worked in North County property management for three decades through Bravo Sierra. House Hawk takes that family background and focuses it on one thing: looking after homes while their owners are away.

Britt is the person who answers the phone, walks your property, and writes your reports. As House Hawk grows, that standard of personal, consistent care is the thing that does not change.

How we work

Every relationship starts with a walkthrough of the home. Together you agree on what gets checked, how often, and who to call for what. From then on, each visit follows that checklist and ends with a photo-documented report. If something is found, you hear about it promptly. Nothing is repaired, arranged or changed without your approval.

What we are not

Home Watch is a visual property observation and reporting service. It is not a substitute for licensed security, contracting, inspection, or emergency services. When an issue is identified, our role is to observe, document, notify, and, when authorized, help coordinate the appropriate qualified professional.

A conversation first

Tell us about the home, and when you're away.

We will walk the property with you, build its checklist, and agree on a visit schedule before anything starts.
